Scaffolders Insurance

Scaffolders Insurance

Insuring your scaffolders business is not as simple as other trades due to the heights and the added risk that it brings. Ensuring you are fully covered is vital; we have a wealth of experience to ensure every angle is covered whilst keeping costs down.

Northern Alliance have a number of specialist schemes for all types of business insurance. We can arrange covers for your scaffolders business; including public liability insurance, employers liability insurance and additional covers such as tools & contract works. These can be combined into a single policy to provide you with the best value. Whether you’re a tradesman with a number of employees or even if you’re self-employed we can get you covered.

Two key covers that should be considered are:

Public Liability Insurance

Public liability insurance is a big must for any scaffolder as this covers you against any damage or injury to a third party. We can arrange public liability covers from £1 million ranging all the way to £10 million.

Employers’ Liability insurance

Employers’ liability insurance is requirement by law for any business or tradesman that has employees, hire contractors, casual workers or temporary staff. The policy will pay the costs incurred by an employee making a claim because he or she was injured or became seriously ill whilst working for your business.

We would also HIGHLY RECOMMEND that in addition to Liability cover, one or all of these additional covers should be considered. They can be taken out individually or as a package – just call to discuss tailoring cover appropriate to your requirements & relevant premiums:

  • Contractors Plant Cover
  • Legal Expenses (including cover for Employment Disputes & Tax Protection)
  • Directors & Officers (including cover for Defence Costs in the event of civil action)
  • Health & Safety and Risk Management Consultancy

We will do all the legwork for you, just give us a call today and we will ensure that your business is fully covered.
